Pauline Brown, Leader & Advisor to the Luxury Goods sector
Pauline currently teaches at Columbia Business School, where she is an Executive in Residence. She wrote a business book, entitled ‘Aesthetic Intelligence,’ which serves as the basis for her coursework at her e-learning platform, Aesthetic Intelligence Labs.
Pauline served as the Chairman of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton North America, where she provided regional leadership for 70 brands in 5 sectors, including fashion, beauty, jewelry, wines & spirits and specialty retail. She currently serves on the board of luxury retailer Neiman Marcus Group.
Prior to joining LVMH, Pauline was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, where she specialized in buyouts in the retail and consumer sectors. Earlier in her career, she held senior executive positions at Estée Lauder and Avon. She began her career as a Management Consultant at Bain & Company.
